Scan and Pay Integration for Merchants

Problem to Solve:

The lack of a seamless POS solution for merchants is hindering the adoption of Solana Pay. The following are their needs:

• No extra efforts for integration and should have a smooth learning curve

• Should fit well into their existing workflows

• Shouldn’t require any additional setup and settle in Fiat, if needed

Possible Solution:

• Ability to generate static as well as dynamic QRs.

• Merchants can have static (permanent) QRs in their shops without requiring any devices

• The POS machine can also have a Dynamic QR, which automatically fills in the amount to be paid by the user. This Dynamic QR can be generated by the merchant by just entering the amount, similar to a credit card POS.

• An Android SDK can be developed to enable any Android device (including Saga) to become a Solana Pay POS or can be integrated into existing payment aggregator apps.

• Accept Credit Cards and other Fiat payments methods as well for a complete solution to merchants (Can integrate existing FinTech APIs like Stripe)

• Off-ramping of USDC to Bank Account (Can use existing APIs developed by Wyre, Circle etc)
